A Mission Focused on Children
Hello and welcome. Kingdom Kids Mission was created to focus specifically on children and their needs.
Rebecca Godfrey and her husband Elliott have served in mission work at The Refuge for many years. The Refuge is located at 19 Brookhaven Street in Raysal, West Virginia. While that work continues, Kingdom Kids Mission was established to provide intentional care and outreach centered solely on children.

As the mission has grown, the need for a dedicated space has become clear. Kingdom Kids Mission is working toward building a permanent facility that will serve as a stable home for children’s programs, food distribution, and essential support. A building of our own will allow this work to continue and expand without limitations, providing consistency and security for the children and families we serve.

Kids have always been Rebecca’s passion. Growing up, she experienced difficult times as a child, and that shaped her heart for this mission. Her goal is simple and deeply personal. To help as many children as possible avoid the same struggles and to show them love, safety, and support.
With the support of faithful donors and community partners, Kingdom Kids Mission can continue meeting urgent needs today while building a lasting home for the future. Every gift helps move this mission forward and reminds a child in McDowell County that they are seen, cared for, and not forgotten.

Our Impact
Our impact is seen in everyday moments. A child who feels safe. A family who has food during a hard season. A young person who begins to understand their worth. Kingdom Kids Mission serves children by meeting immediate needs while also investing in their hearts and futures. We believe consistent love and presence can change lives in lasting ways.
Fostering Love and Support
At Kingdom Kids Mission, our mission is to provide children with nourishment and to show them love, compassion, and support, nurturing their self-worth and resilience. We believe in a love-first approach that combines meeting physical needs with emotional investment, emphasizing the value and worth of every child we serve.
Looking Forward
As Kingdom Kids Mission grows, our vision includes teaching children practical skills, encouraging confidence, and helping them see a future filled with hope and possibility.
Every child deserves a chance.

Rebecca and Elliott Godfrey have been serving their community for many years. Long before Kingdom Kids Mission had a name, they were already showing up for children and families in McDowell County.
They have led outreach efforts for children and single mothers, helped distribute food, and supported families in need in practical, meaningful ways. Their service has never been occasional or convenient. It has been steady, hands-on, and rooted in genuine care for the people around them.
Rebecca and Elliott do not see service as a project or a season. It is a way of life. They give their time, energy, and resources because they believe in loving people well and meeting needs as they arise.

This mission is not something they stepped into recently. It is who they are.

They are givers. They are leaders. They are committed to lifting others up and strengthening their community, one child at a time.

To expand their impact, Rebecca and Elliott are leading efforts to build a new Kingdom Kids Mission facility. This building will provide a safe, welcoming space for children to learn, grow, and feel valued. They are inviting the community to join them in making this vision a reality. Every donation helps bring hope, support, and opportunity to the children who need it most.
